Life has been a bit crazy lately. Harbin is still struggling with allergies. It’s amazing how, because they are so young, they struggle so much more, and since he can’t blow his nose yet, we have been suctioning it out a lot. I never knew a 3 month old could have so much snot! He seems to be doing better and feels fine, so that is a blessing. I just haven’t slept well the past week b.c he wakes up with his nose stopped up quite a bit. Thus, my fascination with coffee the past few weeks. I even got a Starbucks tumbler to make it more convenient to take with me in the car. (I wanted to replace our matching tumblers we got when we were married 9 years ago…) Other than that, things are good. Harbin rolled over for the first time yesterday. CRAZY!!:)

Getting into the refrigerator, while I am in the living room, she comes back with a piece of bologna:
Mom, can I have this because I like cold things.
Sweet Harbin has a case of the allergies. We are praying it ends quickly. He feels great and is his sweet self.:)
We were driving past some construction on our street. There was a man that was digging dirt in a hole in the ground. (apparently) Haven said, very franticly as we drove past:
Mommy, we HAVE to help that man out of the hole. We HAVE to help him.
So sweet. I tried to explain he wasn’t stuck, but that that was his job, since they were building something…I think she might have got it….
Who knows, if she keeps this kind of thing up (and if I can remember) we may just have a Havenism every day. I know you can’t wait…:)
So, this whole boy thing is new to me. Today, I was changing him while in the car (to clarify, I usually feed him in the car after I walk–less germs than feeding him inside somewhere and much more private and quiet. I am usually waiting for Haven to get out of school as well) and it usually works out swell. Today, I was changing him on my lap, thinking he was done pooing, well, he wasn’t. I guess he strained a bit hard, b.c he was pooing and peed right in his face. Poor guy. Meanwhile, I had to have two diapers to trap the poop from getting all over my car. So, I was sitting there holding two diapers of his area waiting for him to be done, all the while him smiling up at me. It was sweet.:) So interesting, these boys.
Speaking of boys, my Steph is having a boy. We are SO excited to have Roman (who at first was Roman, and then they thought it was a girl, and it is now officially a boy again, hence Roman:)) Harbin is excited to have a cousin so close to his age (although he doesn’t know it yet) and I know Ro and Harbin will be best friends/cousins!:)
Me: Haven, don’t stick you letter ‘V’ sticker out the window when I’m driving, it will blow away.
Haven: I’m letting God and Jesus see it, but they’ll see it in a minute, they are eating dinner right now.
Haven: MOM, my sticker flew out the window.
Me: I’m sorry Haven, we’ll try to find another one at home.
Haven: That’s okay, God and Jesus will take care of it.
