Knowing clouds will rage And storms will race in

But you will be safe in my arms

Rains will pour down Waves will crash all around

But you will be safe in my arms

Story books full of fairy tales Of kings and queens and the bluest skies

My heart is torn just in knowing

You’ll someday see the truth from lies

Knowing clouds will rage And storms will race in

But you will be safe in my arms

Rains will pour down Waves will crash all around

But you will be safe in my arms

Castles they might crumble

Dreams may not come true

But you are never all alone

Because I will always Always love you

This is part of the song by Plumb. I have been praying about specific things for my kids, especially lately, and this song came to mind. The whole song is so powerful. I think of the seasons we have in life, and especially for children, it seems so much more magnified at times, yet Jesus so has them in His hand. I am learning to release things. Things or people I want to hold onto tightly. The release part seems to be sometimes by the minute, yet, it’s so freeing knowing that I am truly trusting in my Maker to protect those HE created. Wow. He will never leave us nor forsake us, just like how we see our children. I for one would like to protect them as much as I possibly can and wish I could pick and choose what they have to see or go through in their life, however, God knows what we all need and what it is going to take for us to realize fully what He wants to do in us as a result.
